Chi Sao Form

Chi sau translates as “Sticking hands.” We understand the old mantra that “the hand is faster than the eye” and therefore do not try to rely on our eyes to detect incoming strikes when fighting at very close quarters. Just like a parent crossing a road with a small child I only trust I know where something is if I can touch it. This knowledge allows the Wing Tsun practitioner to avoid the strike and position themselves in the ideal way for a counter attack.
